Eva is a licensed lawyer who has been practicing in Indonesia for more than 15 years specializing in investments, merger & acquisition, project financing, restructuring & distressed asset management, governance & risk management and general corporate matters. While she has worked with clients from a range of industries, she has developed specific expertise and experience in energy and natural resources.

Eva understands the mining industry and works from a practical perspective having served on the boards of a number of mining houses over many years. She has also previously been involved in a resource investment firm in Indonesia with work involving conducting detailed due diligence investigations of the projects, preparation of merger & acquisition related documentation and restructuring existing corporate structure as well as restructuring debt and managing distressed assets.

She actively involved in preparing the draft to the revision of the current Mining Law together with the Association of Indonesia Mining Professionals (PERHAPI) and the Indonesian Mining Institute (IMI) and until now an active contributor for mining law and policy discussions with the associations. She was appointed by the government (Director General of Mineral and Coal) to be one of the National Mining Policy Formulation Team (Tim Formulasi Kebijakan Tambang) preparing Indonesia mining policy issued by the government in 2018. Eva speaks in various regional and national forums and seminars including the Sumatra Miners, Indonesia Miner, Mining Legal Conferences etc.

Eva holds a Bachelor of Law from Padjadjaran University, Indonesia, a Master of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Eva is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), Chairwoman for Energy and Mineral Resources of the Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association for Jakarta in 2013-2016 (HIPMI Jaya), Head of legal working group at PERHAPI (2015-2018), associate of Indonesia Mining Institute (IMI) and advisory member of the Indonesia Independent Power Producers Association (APLSI).
